false alarm on the whole "winter" thing, as grand rapids seemed to experience one entire glorious, snowy season all in one weekend. when monday came, we were back to our oddly seattle-esque rainy 40s. okay, mother nature, we get it: you have a TOTALLY ZANY sense of humor. 

while you get it sorted, though, I'll just be over here.. drinking tea and prancing around in my fancy japanese rain boots. 

guess what? according to the weather channel, winter's kind of officially here. TOOK YA LONG ENOUGH.
