margo from tatine is our new hero. why?

  • she makes the most amazing soy and beeswax candles in an old recording studio / loft space in downtown chicago.
  • she's influenced by rock stars of the 60s and 70s.
  • she believes, like us, that candles can transport you to a different place, even a different time. she loves london and created many of the "tisane" scents to share the scent of her favorite place.
  • her candles have badass names like "love that burns" and "bron yr aur," which is either a quaint welsh cottage or the name of a led zeppelin song. it's hard to say.



yeah, she's just that cute. thanks, margo, for some truly kickass candles. we can't wait to smell what else you come up with.

we're having a moment with orange. it's happy but not obnoxious, it pairs well with neutrals, and it's always pretty easy to find at least one orange element to inject your wardrobe or daily life with a shot of color....

we're not super girly, nor are we particularly sentimental, but there's something about these shanna murray decals that we're pretty in love with. her handwriting is awesome and her choice of colors is even more so. the packaging's also something...
